Responding to the urgent need for physicians as conveyed by the Department of Health (DOH) to meet the requirements of the Public Health Emergency, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has approved the recommendation of the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine (PRBOM) that the March 2020 batch which took the Part I of the PLE last March 8-9, 2020 will take the Part II on September 20-21, 2020. This was approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases through its Resolution No. 58 dated July 23, 2020.

The PRBOM has further recommended that the recent medical graduates who constitute the second batch of examinees this year will be scheduled to take their licensure examination on November 2020. The PRC will present detailed preparations for this examination before the IATF.

The second batch is advised to wait for the announcement on the conduct of the November 2020 examination.
