Manila, March 18, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission, together with theProfessional Regulatory Board forCustoms Broker and Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. adopted and promulgated in PRBCB Resolution No. 01, Series of 2015 thenew Code of Ethics and Code of Technical Standards for Custom Brokerseffective on March 9, 2016.

In pursuance to the provisions of Republic Act No. 9280, otherwise known as the Customs Broker Act of 2004, the new COE and CTS was created and issued by Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc, the Accredited Professional Organization for Customs Broker.

The new COE and CTS were issued to adopt measures for the enhancement of the profession and the maintenance of high professional, technical and ethical standards.
