Manila, October 25, 2016---The Professional Regulation Commission would like to warn the public and professionals alike about the reoccurring fake transaction scam of soliciting payment for clearance through the social media. The scammers usually use the names: ALFREDO PO, DIR.RODRIGO BALAQUI and ATTY. EUGENIO RIEGO in their illegal transactions.

Previous incidents were reported to the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Mechanical Engineers and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for appropriate action.

Please be reminded that transactions regarding licenses are only allowed at the PRC Main Office and Regional Offices as well as authorized business centers of SM City Cebu, Robinsons Mall in Manila, Galleria, Cebu and Clark Polytechnic One-stop shop.
