PRC nullifies results of the September 2015 SPLBE on Mechanical Engineering in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Manila, July 1, 2016 – Pursuant to Resolution No. 992 Series of 2016, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the nullification of results of the September 2015 SPLBE on Mechanical Engineering which was conducted in the Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on September 24 and 25, 2015.
The initial validation of the test by the PRC Consultant for Test Construction and Statistics showed a high probability that there was human intervention which facilitated the high passing percentage in the testing center in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Commission created a Fact – Finding Committee to investigate the alleged irregularities in the conduct of the Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) for Mechanical Engineering. The Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering and the Commission adopted the recommendation of the Committee to cancel and nullify the results of the September 24 and 25, 2015 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination for SPLBE 2015.
