PRC observes the 2025 Girl Child Week
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) joins the nation in the observance of the Protection and Gender-Fair Treatment of the Girl Child Week also known as “Girl Child Week” every 4th week of March under Proclamation No. 756, s. 1996, with the theme “Walang Puwang sa Lipunan ang Karahasan: Labanan ang Pang-aabuso at Eksploytasyon sa Batang Babae, Online at Offline (Violence Belongs Nowhere in Society: Stand Against the Abuse and Exploitation of Young Girls, Both Online and Offline)”.
This week-long celebration spearheaded by the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) focuses on gender-based violence (GBV), exploitation, and abuse – both online and offline – to enhance understanding, promote, and engage children and adults on how to access help and support victim-survivors and strengthen protection.
