Manila, March 2, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission approves Resolution No. 2016-970 entitled “Recall Of PRC Resolution No. 2013-785 And Reinstatement Of The Special Temporary Permit (STP) Requirement For All Foreign Professionals Assisting In The Relief, Rehabilitation And Reconstruction Of Those Areas Affected By Typhoon Yolanda” effective on March 13, 2016.

The recalled Resolution No. 2013-785 exempted from STP requirement foreign professionals who are involved in the relief and rehabilitation of Typhoon Yolanda victims.

With the issuance of Resolution No. 2016-970, all foreign professionals assisting in the relief, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of those areas affected by typhoon Yolanda are now mandated to apply for and secure STP.
