Retake of all examination subjects for the late examinees in the October 2015 Board Licensure Examination for Criminologists (BLEC)
Posted on 23 March, 2016

Manila, March 18, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission, together with the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology issued Board Resolution No. 7, Series of 2015 examinees who reported late in the October 2015 BLEC to retake all the examination subjects in April 2016 BLEC.

Last October 18, 2015, Metro Manila was placed under typhoon signal no. 2 and the adverse effects of the weather were heavily felt in Regions 1, 2, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and other nearby areas. The BLEC proceeded as scheduled, notwithstanding the inclement weather. Reports, however came in regarding the late arrival of examinees who opted to take the remaining subjects for that day and sought reconsideration from the Board and PRC to be allowed to take the subject that they have missed.

With the approval of the said Resolution, the Board resolved that all late examinees in the October 2015 BLEC to retake all the examination subjects in the next schedule of BLEC, subject to the condition that the concerned examinees will still have to file their application for BLEC at no cost on their part.
