MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has been primed up for the PRC 50th Founding Anniversary and 2023 Professional Regulation Week come June 16 – 22, 2023. Anchored on its theme: PRC @ 50: Celebrating Milestones of Professional Excellence and Global Recognition – BOLD at GOLD!, PRC has meticulously designed a series of face-to-face and virtual events as follows:
On June 22, 1973, Presidential Decree (P.D.) No. 233 was signed by Former President Ferdinand E. Marcos as a three-man national Commission attached to the Office of the President for general direction and coordination, PRC has become the instrument of the Filipino people in securing the country a reliable, trustworthy, and progressive system of determining the competence of professionals by the administration of credible and valid licensure examinations and institutionalizing standards of professional practice that are globally recognized.
Through the years, PRC continues and remains to be persistent in its commitment to fulfilling its mandate within the bounds of good governance and excellent public service. Resiliently engraved through the constantly and dynamically changing world, PRC will celebrate its golden years of existence with confidence as it continues to forge ahead with the utmost professionalism and dedication to public service.
Aside from the events mentioned earlier, respective Regional Offices across the nation shall also lead a series of activities such as the Medical Mission, Thanksgiving and Fellowship, Gender and Development (GAD) Program, Health and Wellness, and Livelihood Programs, Tree Planting, Family Day, and Bloodletting Activity to name a few.
